The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro and The Greensboro Review will host a special Homecoming poetry reading by Nicole Stockburger on Friday, October 18th at 7PM in the UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue. It is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing.
Nicole Stockburger is the author of Nowhere Beulah, winner of the Unicorn Press First Book Competition (forthcoming November 15, 2019), selected by Dan Albergotti. Her poems appear or are forthcoming in The Kenyon Review, The Southern Review, The Journal, Indiana Review, Frontier Poetry, New South, and Michigan Quarterly Review, among others. After receiving an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BA in Studio Art and English from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nicole now lives and works on a stretch of land in the North Carolina foothills, splitting her time co-running York Farm with her partner, Kyle Montgomery, and as a freelance copywriter.
