The MFA Writing Program, The Greensboro Review, and the UNCG Center for Creative Writing in the Arts will host a reading by Holly Goddard Jones on Thursday, February 21st, at 8:00 PM in the UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue. The reading will celebrate the release of Jones’s debut novel, The Next Time You See Me. It is free and open to the public and will be followed by a reception and a book signing. Holly Goddard Jones is the author of the short story collection, Girl Trouble, and a novel, The Next Time You See Me. Her work has appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories, New Stories from the South, Tin House magazine, New England Review, and elsewhere. She was a 2013 recipient of The Fellowship of Southern Writers’ Hillsdale Prize for Excellence in Fiction and a 2007 recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award. Jones teaches in the graduate creative writing program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and lives in Greensboro with her husband, Brandon, and two rowdy dogs.
