Fiction reading

The MFA Writing Program at Greensboro and The Greensboro Review will host a fiction reading by Gretchen Comba on Thursday, March 30th at 7:00 PM in UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing.

Gretchen Comba is the author of The Stillness of the Picture. Her fiction has appeared in a number of journals, including Alaska Quarterly Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and The North American Review. She is a recipient of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Award for Short Fiction and the Yemassee Award for Exceptional Contribution to the Magazine. She received her MFA in Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and she teaches at Virginia Commonwealth University.
