A Poetry Reading by Martin Arnold and Terry Kennedy

The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro and The Greensboro Review will host a poetry reading by Martin Arnold and Terry Kennedy on Thursday, October 13th, at 7:00 PM in the UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing.

Martin Arnold is the author of A Million Distant Glittering Catastrophes, winner of the 2009-2010 Pavement Saw Chapbook Contest. His poetry has been published in numerous journals and literary magazines including Verse Daily, Carolina Quarterly, Crazyhorse, Poetry East, and Denver Quarterly and has been honored with nominations for Best American Poetry and three scholarships to The Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Arnold received his MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and teaches in the English Department at Guilford College. He currently serves as Associate Poetry Editor of the online journal storySouth.

Terry L. Kennedy is the author of Until the Clouds Shatter the Light that Plates Our Lives (Jeanne Duval Editions, 2011). His work appears in a variety of literary journals and magazines including Cave Wall, from the Fishouse, roger, Southern Review, and Waccamaw. He currently serves as Associate Director of the MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro and is Editor of the online journal storySouth.
